Spectrum 1.4.8 has been released. I've finally finished this term at university and had some time to do new release.
Spectrum 1.4.8 fixes ICQ login issues introduced today. It also fixes PM messages on IRC network and contains various bugfixes. See Changelog for full list of changes.
Spectrum 1.4.7 has been released. As usual, it fixes various bugs and brings some new features. It's the first Spectrum release which supports Remote roster protoXEP which has potential to fix nicknames/groups synchronization problems for most people. This release also fixes avatars synchronization with legacy networks. See Changelog for full list of changes.
This release fixes ICQ issues with latest libpurple 2.7.7. MSN certificates are also updated in libpurple 2.7.7, so be sure you're using latest libpurple (part of http://pidgin.im/ project). See Changelog for full list of changes.
Because of change in the ICQ network, we have just released Spectrum 1.4.3. This version fixes ICQ login issues (by disabling SSL and clientLogin), but there are some minor fixes and changes too. See Changelog for full list of changes.
Stable Debian packages ("spectrum") should be updated in the evening. Spectrum -dev version ("spectrum-dev") packages are already updated.

As the version number says, we've switched to different versioning model.
The main change in 1.4.0 (Full Changelog) is new twitter plugin which doesn't crash and supports OAuth, which is needed to connect Twitter now.
Newly supported protocols are Identica and Heroes of Newerth game chat.

Binary packages contain also development version of Tigase MUC component. MUC component can be loaded and configured at runtime using service discovery and ad-hoc commands.
Note, this is beta release. It is not yet well tested so please do not use it in production service
